The Faculty of the Humanities at the University of Rostock invites applications for a

Professorship for British and American Cultural Studies (salary level W2)

at the Institute of British and American Literature/Cultural Studies at the earliest possible date (within budget considerations).

In the area of teaching, the holder of the professorship is expected to cover the full scope of the field of British and American Cultural Studies. We seek an academic personality with a research specialization in the fields Postcolonial and Transcultural Studies (Master-Program) und Gender/Class/EthnicityStudies (intersectionality). Additional expertise in the area of Environmental Cultural Studies would be very desirable. In addition, the faculty expects of the future colleague to contribute to the work at the Interdisciplinary Faculty (INF) of Rostock University and its various departments.
